The list below shows many of the options available in Mayfair and a few from nearby. From a small table to a big party, Mayfair has it covered. I have highlighted in bold restaurants that our website has reviewed in the past, so please click on the heading to read the review.

2 Caviar Kaspia



Caviar Kaspia has transformed from a private members club to an elegant fine dining restaurant in Mayfair. The venue, characterised by romantic decor, offers a menu highlighting fresh ingredients and creative dishes.
Located in a beautiful four-storey townhouse in a quiet street in Mayfair.
The Private dining area is on the third floor, and when you hire the 30-seater dining room, you also have access to the whole floor, which includes a set seating area and a private bathroom.
This is ultimate private dining experience. In addition to the private dining room, there is a fine-dining restaurant and a downstairs cocktail bar.

3 Claridges
Claridge’s Hotel, an iconic establishment nestled in the heart of Mayfair. With a history dating back to the 19th century, this five-star hotel has hosted royalty, celebrities, and dignitaries, making it a symbol of sophistication and refinement. Its stunning Art Deco interiors along with exceptional dining options have made it one of the worlds best hotels.
As you would expect, at Claridge’s, there are plenty of private dining options to suit parties of varying sizes. There are;
The Foyer Private dining room 10 to 24 people, Claridges restaurant’s private dining room 16 people, L’ Epicerie room chefs table experience for 14 people and finally The Painter’s room with bar, 40 guests standing.

4 Corrigans Mayfair
Corrigan’s Mayfair has four luxurious private dining rooms: the Chef’s Table for up to 14 guests, the Poet’s Corner for up to 10 guests, the Kitchen Library for intimate celebrations with six guests, and the Lindsay Room, which is the largest space can host up to 24 guests.
Private dining options including a canapé and champagne reception, six-course tasting menu or a three-course à la carte menu designed by Chef Patron Richard Corrigan, made from the freshest seasonal market produce, guests can be assured of an exceptional experience.

5 Guinea Grill



The iconic Guinea Grill is one of London’s most famous pubs. An inn has been on this site since 1423, and a steak restaurant has been there since 1952. This year, it was voted one of the top 100 steak restaurants in the world.
Guinea undertook an extensive refurbishment early this year, enlarging the restaurant and three stunning private dining rooms.

Hide is a restaurant and bar by Hedonism Wines and Ollie Dabbous. It is set over three floors, flooded with natural daylight and enjoying views across Green Park. Opened in 2018 it recieved a Michelin star soon after.
Hide and Seek Room(s), The Hide and Seek room has a capacity for 24 guests or the room can be split into two rooms of 12
The Nest is the west semi-private dining space at Hide, a selcluded table pn the top floor can seat six guests.
HIDE below has three intimate private dining spaces are located alongside The Bar Below: The Broken Room, The Reading Room, and The Shadow Room. Theinterior design features and artworks in each room speak to three individual themes.

Kitty Fishers is tucked away in Mayfairs Shepherd Market. The small restaurant dining room is famous for its classic British OK dining menu. Upstairs is Kitty’s private dining club room, which overlooks Shepherd Market. The table has space for 12 people.

10 Mercato Mayfair



Mercato Mayfair is a sustainable food hall in a former church on North Audley Steet. The wine bar in the crypt is an unusual but stunning venue and is available for private hire. In addition to the wine bar, Mercato Mayfair has a distillery and brewery on site, as well as many food options.

11 Novikov



The Poppy Room accommodates up to 27 guests on multiple tables or 18 guests on one table for a seated dinner, and can accommodate 30 standing guests. The Poppy Room features a private bar and with its warm and elegant décor, it is ideal for small, exclusive events.
The Vino Room seats up to 45 guests on multiple tables, 30 guests on one table and can cater for 60 guests standing. Perfect for larger occasions, this room offers seamless service and an elegant dining experience in a refined, sophisticated setting.
For more substantial events, the Poppy & Vino Rooms can be combined to host 4o guests for a seated dinner on one table and 80 for a standing reception. The flexible space provides the perfect backdrop for larger celebrations while maintaining a luxurious ambience.
The Flag Room
Graceful & Intimate is located within the Lounge Bar downstairs and offers a secluded and exclusive area for up to 25 dining guests, with a capacity of 45 for standing guests. This private room is ideal for small gatherings or special celebrations. It blends intimacy with the vibrant energy of Novikov’s lounge, creating a relaxed and memorable atmosphere.

This popular Italian restaurant on buzzy Hedon Street off Regent Street has a stunning Private room that can seat up to 54 guests. The room has its own bar and AV facilities.

Sabor, a Michelin-starred restaurant located on Heddon Street, is a culinary gem co-owned by head chef Nieves Barragan. The menu showcases a diverse array of dishes from various regions of Spain, reflecting the country’s rich culinary heritage. Renowned for its exciting and innovative approach to food, Sabor masterfully presents traditional Spanish recipes while delivering a contemporary dining experience.
Private and semi-private dining in two areas of the restaurant
El Asador, on the top floor at Sabor, has its own kitchen and can be hired for private hire for up to 25 guests.
A Semi-private dining area is also available on the ground floor; La Mesa has the largest table in the restaurant, seating ten people. It is ideal for smaller gatherings.

SILVA offers a choice of different menu options and budgets, each designed to deliver an unforgettable dining experience. The PDR is on the top floor of this charming Mediterranean restaurant, 1 minute from Berekley Square. There is a private snug bar that can be hired with the room. Seats 10-12

Recognised as London’s most beautiful venue, it would be wrong to label Sketch merely as a restaurant. Rather, it is a destination for food, drinks, music, and art, featuring various dining and bar spaces, each with its own distinctive design and menu.

16 The Beaumont Hotel

The Lotos Room has been recently refurbished, the Lotos Room is hung with portraits of movie stars from the 1920s and 1930s by the renowned Hollywood photographer George Hurrell.

The Sargent Room Located on the ground floor and with an abundance of natural daylight, the mahogany-panelled Sargent Room features a grand (removable) boardroom table, and dramatic paintings by Kees van Dongen and John Singer Sargent, along with a plasma screen for presentations.

Munnings Room One of the largest private dining rooms which is lighter in style, with glamorous gold wall coverings. The Munnings Room has an equestrian theme, with paintings by Alfred Munnings and George Stubbs.

17 The Chesterfield Arms


The Chesterfield is situated on Hertford Street on the edge of Shepherd Market.
The Chesterfield Arms has a rich history and is, named after the Earls of Chesterfield, whose family owned most of Bingham, was constructed as a coaching inn around 1750 under the name ‘The Royal Oak’. With a rich history, this establishment has served as a pub since 1737, operating as the Chesterfield Arms from 1769 to 1938 and reopening in 2021.
Private ding options include a upstairs function room available for hire, or hire out of the full pub to include the downstairs

18 The Cocochine


The Cocochine is located in a beautiful former mews house at 27 Bruton Place off Berkeley Square. The redesign of the 4-storey building has been approached as a house, curated in its architecture and décor to the detail. Chef Larry Jayasekara offers a cuisine that is an homage to his travels and experience. Guests can expect many examples of extraordinary ingredients to make an appearance in his dishes.
The exclusively private space is allocated entirely to the restaurant’s second floor. This spectacular 1,200 square foot top floor room features a stunning 6-metre-high coffered ceiling with 22-carat gold lining and two large original inset roof lights that bathe the room in natural light during the day. The room has retained its original Saracenic-styled fireplace with a working fire for colder days and boasts a dedicated kitchen, own bar, toilet facilities and wine storage.
The space comfortably accommodates up to 18 guests around a large bespoke table. Textural elements of polished stone, soft leather and warm oak form the room’s bespoke furniture and are further enhanced by curated original artwork including pieces by Peter Beard, Matisse and Hockney from Hamiltons Gallery.

19 The Connaught
The Connaught Hotel, located in the heart of London’s prestigious Mayfair district, is a luxurious five-star establishment renowned for its elegant design and exceptional service. With a rich history dating back to 1815, it seamlessly blends classic British charm with modern sophistication. Overlooking the pass, guests are seated at a pink marble table set on a Terrazzo dais, with stunning ceiling art designed by Rochegaussen and bespoke lamps created by Matteo Gonet for Pierre Yovanovitch. From here, chefs showcase their culinary talents, answer questions and personally present the three Michelin Star dishes.
The Sommeliers Table
The Sommelier’s Table is the ultimate exploration of The Connaught wines. Led by your private sommelier and accompanied by perfectly matched, Michelin-starred dishes from Hélène Darroze, this is a truly bespoke dining and sommelier experience.
20 The Footman


The Footman is a busy pub and restaurant on Charles Street, a hop, skip and a jump from Berkeley Square, a short walk from Green Park station and 10 minutes from Bond Street station.
The Footman offers various Private dining options. It caters for parties of up to 150 across the whole venue, with food and drinks packages available to suit all tastes and budgets.

21 The Punchbowl

One of Mayfair’s most popular pubs, originally owned by Guy Ritchie, the gastro pub is now owned by Butcombe Brewery. PDR called “The Club” is on the top floor, offers exclusive use of the top floor and can seat upto 16 people.

Guests will be treated to an exquisite dining experience featuring Michelin-starred cuisine,
The main private dining room can seat 16 people on one long table or 22 people on two tables. The smaller but unique Paisley room can seat 10-12 people.
Private Dining in St James
24 Chutney Mary

Chutney Mary has won the AA Restaurant of the Year award and is the sister restaurant to the Michelin-starred Veeraswamy. Since the 1990s, Chutney Mary has served regional Indian dishes from places like Goa, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Peshawar. This makes it a true pioneer not only in Indian cuisine in London but also in the city’s overall restaurant scene.
There are two private dining rooms at Chutney Mary. The smaller Crystal Room seats between 10 and 16 guests. The larger Club Room fits 45 for a grand reception or between 18 and 32 for a fully-fledged dinner.
Franco’s

Opened since 1945, Franco’s is renowned as one of London’s oldest Italian restaurants. Celebrated for offering a traditional Italian experience in a refined and contemporary setting. Hidden within Franco’s is a stunning private dining space, providing an oasis of privacy with a variety of dining options that can be tailored to suit whatever the occasion requires. Accommodating up to 50 people, Franco’s PDR is the perfect setting for dinner parties, family reunions, birthdays, corporate events and much more.
25 Ginza St James


Ginza St. James is a sophisticated Japanese restaurant located in the heart of a bustling urban setting, known for its exquisite sushi and seasonal dishes. The ambience combines traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern elegance. There is a selection of tasting menus with drinks pairings (I can recommend) and an A La Carte and Bento menu.

26 Milos



Milos opened its grand, stately doors in 2015 in the centrally located and elegant St. James’s, serving freshly caught fish and seafood. Prior to ordering, a ‘captain’ guides guests through the fish market, which features a spectacular raw seafood bar, the crown jewel of Milos hospitality.
The private dining room seats 20 people, and the decor is designed to give more than a nod to the beautiful Greek island of Symi.

27 Pirana



PIRAÑA London, the new entertainment-led, Nikkei restaurant, is the most sought-after party spot in Mayfair. The venue includes a bar, restaurant, but more relevant an immersive floating 12-seat private dining room enclosed by one-way windows, giving guests both privacy and views overlooking the main restaurant. Renowned hospitality consultants LXA have transformed the one-storey venue into an architecturally daring restaurant.

28 Wild Honey


Wild Honey St James was launched in spring 2019 by chef Anthony Demetre. The impressive corner site sees Anthony’s distinctive modern European menus showcased in a striking dining room designed by interior specialist Jim Hamilton. The restaurant was awarded a MICHELIN Star in the 2024 MICHELIN Guide Great Britain and Ireland.
Wild Honey offers a good mix of Private dining and Private dining options.
The private dining room seats up to 16 people.
The Gallery semi-private can host a maximum of 20 people.
The Stage, another Semi-private area, can seat 40 guests
The Bistrot Wild Honey is a step away from the main restaurant and can seat 47 people.

Established in 1742, Wiltons stands as one of London’s oldest dining establishments, offering a unique and quintessentially British experience for its guests. Wiltons’ private dining room, The Jimmy Marks Room, named after the former Head Oysterman in recognition of his 33 years of service, seats up to 20 guests and is elegantly decorated with bespoke artwork and furniture. Guests booking Wiltons’ PDR can choose between a selection of set menus, each tailored to suit different tastes, events and occasions.

30 Delamina


Delamina, the popular Eastern Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Marylebone, offers private dining downstairs in the family room for 25-30 guests seated. I have also attended a reception in the upstairs restaurant (100 people) with divine canapes and small bites created by talented co-owner/chef Limor Chen.

31 Roketsu


Located in New Quebec Street in Marylebone Village, Roketsu offers an authentic iteration of the true Japanese kaiseki experience, one of the very few found outside Japan and one of the only in London. Chef Daisuke Hayashi, who trained in Kyoto under Yoshiro Murata, creates menus based on the five flavours, senses, colours, and cooking methods based on the fundamentals of Washoku culture. Roketsu is a slice of Kyoto transported to London – the interiors were designed and made in Japan and shipped to the UK in their entirety.
Roketsu’s private dining space seats up to 6 people. Its aesthetics are designed to seamlessly immerse diners in Japanese hospitality. The space features fine art from Kyoto-based Shibunkaku Studio and offers views of the restaurant’s wine cabinet, which showcases a spectacular selection.

Reimagining traditional cuisine from the Pampas in southern Brazil, Fazenda centres around a passion for the highest quality of meats and freshly prepared sides, served in authentic Rodizio style (a unique method of serving a variety of grilled meats carved at the table).
